I turned in my dissertation this afternoon! Yay. It is almost over. I have my final defense in two weeks.
I even pick up my graduation gown tomorrow. Crazy.
I honestly don't know what to do with myself right now. So I'm watching some of my backlog of tv shows that I couldn't watch because I was working like crazy. Right now I'm watching part of the final season of Boston Legal.

YAY!!! What is the final defense about? I've heard of it before, but never really knew what it was.
Just rest!!! You deserve it!
I get to present all my research to anyone in the university who wants to come (typically faculty & students from your own department), and then a committee of professors takes me away to a room to grill me on anything they want. And hopefully I survive. At least the grilling in private; when I was Finland, the entire process was public.
My committee is pretty awesome, although one professor will be connected via Skype from Tanzania. Hopefully that works out ok.
